Why Phoenix Rescue Mission?
My connection with Phoenix Rescue Mission began long before Solo Wayfinder. Over the years, I've had the opportunity to participate in their work in several ways.
I joined a ride-along with a Phoenix Rescue Mission outreach team, traveling through the city and meeting people experiencing homelessness where they were. I volunteered at the Hope for Hunger Food Bank in Glendale, helping serve individuals and families in our community facing food insecurity. During the holiday season, I also volunteered at their Christmas Distribution Event, helping with an event that provides Christmas gifts for children and families in need.
These experiences allowed me to see the Mission's work beyond a website or a donation. I saw people showing up for their neighbors—with food, outreach, compassion, practical help, and hope. That's why, when I decided that Faith & Hope should give back, Phoenix Rescue Mission was a natural choice.
Hope, Healing & New Beginnings
Phoenix Rescue Mission provides Christ-centered, life-transforming solutions for people facing hunger and homelessness. Their work brings hope and assistance to men, women, and children throughout the Valley who may be experiencing homelessness, addiction, trauma, hunger, and other difficult circumstances. Phoenix Rescue Mission reports that 76 cents of every dollar given goes directly to programs and services.
