The Phoenix Rescue Mission provides Christ-centered, life-transforming solutions to persons facing hunger and homelessness. 76 cents of every dollar given goes directly to programs and services.

The Phoenix Rescue Mission is a place of hope, healing, and new beginnings for men, women, and children in our community struggling with homelessness, addiction, and trauma.  Love, hope and transformation to every neighbor in the Valley.

The Joy of Giving: Volunteer Opportunities

We have many great opportunities to help feed families hungry in both body and spirit; to bring joy to children in the form of simple gifts, and to bring basic necessities for hygiene that are desperately needed by many living on the street.

A Virtual Tour of Changing Lives Center  (CLC)

If you or someone you know is homeless or at risk of being homeless and needs recovery from drug or alcohol abuse, take the first step toward recovery and contact our Intake Team at (602) 346-3390 with any questions or to arrange an intake and meeting with one of our Case Managers.

Transformations Recovery Program: The program consists of both, a recovery plan plus an aftercare program:

Phase 1: Foundations is the first step on the road to recovery. This phase runs for a minimum of 2 months after a person comes through our RAP program. During this time, men are introduced to basic recovery principles and begin classes which include: 12-Step Recovery, anger management, parenting classes, and basic life skills needed to develop the necessary commitment for Christ-centered recovery.

Phase 2: Intensive Residential Discipleship is a minimum 5-month residential program that takes men through 3 stages of recovery, plus vocational development — Inner Healing, Discipleship, and Life Skills. Men participate in classes and counseling to analyze destructive thought patterns and behaviors, to address damaged relationships and commit to making amends, and to regain control and accountability to self and others. They assess their gifts, talents, and experience that they can bring to a new life in recovery. Skills assessments, computer classes, and job search training are offered at the end of this phase.

Phase 3: Our Advanced Programs run for a minimum of 5 months and feature three options for men to prepare for independence.

    • Option 1: The New Start track offers support for pursuing and maintaining employment.
    • Option 2: The Servant Leadership track prepares clients for moving into Christian leadership via mentorship and service responsibilities.
Aftercare is a minimum 6-month phase of continued support for men who have graduated from the program. Men are required to complete their aftercare contract, to complete monthly progress reports, and participate in the program’s Alumni Association.
